As a passionate advocate for asthma and allergy awareness, working at the Asthma and Allergy Foundation (AAF) as Project Coordinator, I’m driven by a singular mission: to save asthma lives and improve the quality of life for those affected by this condition. My journey with shmuFM began with the realisation that radio, with its vast reach and engaging platform, could be a powerful tool in spreading awareness and fostering understanding about asthma and allergies. Inspired by shmu’s commitment to empowering individuals through radio training, I saw an opportunity to amplify the work of Scotland’s only dedicated asthma charity AAF and connect with listeners in a meaningful way. With each broadcast, I will strive to educate, inspire, and empower others to live and thrive despite the challenges of asthma and allergies.
