Christmas can be a magical time, but for some it is just another day and our shmuFM volunteers wanted to change that with their Christmas for all Appeal. They collected items such as tinned food, pasta, rice, pet food, baby food and nappies, as well as cosy items like hats, scarves and gloves. Today the donations were gratefully received by Seaton Community Pantry.
It is fourth year in the row that the initiative has been delivered by shmu Breakfast Show presenters, Dave, Sandy and Simon, and as usual is has been very well supported.
Adele Keith, shmuFM Development Worker, said “We’re really proud of our volunteers for driving forward this initiative and putting the focus on those in most need at this time of year.” “.
A massive thank you to everyone who stopped by shmuHQ to donate – you’ve made a real difference to those in need this festive season
